This is a prairie and open-woodland perennial that has become harder to find!
That said this is a terrific woodland garden plant. We love the changes from it’s unique blooms to dancing seed heads. As noted by the species name - Geum, it is part of the rose family. The foliage is a soft ferny delight. Plant it where it will not be competed by larger or aggressive plants.
