Linda’s Baby, 4” ball, 3.5’ plant
We have grown this lovely pink sherbet large ball in past seasons. I absolutely love it! It produces long straight stems perfect for cutting. Linda’s Baby blooms may become lighter as the season nears fall.
Ball forms last significantly longer in the vase. This particular dahlia is on the short side and may not need staking. We did not stake ours in 2022. However, if you do not cut the blooms and allow the plant to bloom unhindered, the big balls may create a top heavy situation. In that case I would stake.
