2024 Dahlia Tuber Store is open for preorders

All orders are for pickup only at our house/hoophouse, 313 Newport St., in Jefferson/Chalmers neighborhood. We will hold an open-hoophouse on May 4th, 10 to 6 pm to pickup your orders. Individual pickups can also be arranged. You will receive an email before the open hoophouse day!

If you have tubers to plant - Dahlia tubers cannot be planted outside in our planting zone until, at the earliest mid-May. The ground needs to be warm and the wet, cold spring weather finished. Tubers easily rot in cold wet soil. Our recent spring weather has been cold wet and dismal, delaying planting until late May to June.

Staking is a key activity when growing dahlias. We recommend placing the stake when you plant.
